GoJo Clan Productions, LLC. and Theatre Revolution, LLC. would like to invite women playwrights to submit a play to Glass Ceiling Breakers 2020: A Celebration of Women Playwrights, produced in partnership by GoJo Clan Productions, LLC. and Theatre Revolution, LLC.
The 2020 GCB Celebration will be held on June 19, 20 and 21, 2020 at the Philipstown Depot Theatre in Garrison, NY.
Here are the details and submission guidelines:
· Plays should be no more than 15 pages in standard play format
(see https://shop.samuelfrench.com/content/files/upload/General%20SFI%20Formatting%20Gu idelines%20Complete.pdf for a standard template), type size (12) with 1” margins and not run more than 15 minutes.
· Please only submit plays that have not been produced in Westchester or Putnam Counties from January 2019 to June 2020.
· Plays must be written by female or female identifying playwrights.
· All plays must be received by 11:59 on January 12, 2020
· Submissions will be “semi” blind (half the judges will know who submitted, half will not).
· Playwrights may submit up to 2 plays.
· Each submission must be sent as two attachments.
1. The first attachment will be your play with a title page that contains only the title and NO contact information.
2. The second attachment will be the title page with your name and contact info.

Playwrights will be informed of decisions by the end of February.
There is no stipend. The production is in a black box theatre and sets should be minimal.
If selected, the playwright (or their representative) may choose to be responsible for the production of their play
OR
may request production assistance (not financial) in some or all of the following areas: casting, directing, rehearsals, props, etc.
In all cases, the theatre will provide limited set pieces, lighting and sound equipment and production staff.
There will be a mandatory pre-production meeting for all playwrights or their representatives in mid-April 2020.
