Art Garage, New York’s first non-profit theatre company dedicated to the TGNC community, is seeking submissions for the second installment of the TGNC Reading Series.
This series provides Transgender and Gender Non-Conforming playwrights a chance to hear their work aloud in a comfortable and professional environment. Additionally, cisgendered playwrights may submit work that involves the Transgender+ experience.
Art Garage produces, casts, and caters the reading.
Readings will be followed by a discussion, moderated by Art Garage, in which the playwright may ask questions and receive feedback to help aid the writing process.
The reading series will take place in a rehearsal studio at A.R.T./NY.
