Exquisite Corpse Company is seeking writers to participate in the Spring 2017 Writer's Lab and Drinks & Drama Reading Series.

Led by ECC Literary Director, Blake Bishton, this month long intensive is designed to create a safe space for playwrights to come together and experiment. Writer's Lab encourages writers to create new and refreshing work. Following a unique structure that mirrors ECC's larger development process, the lab aims to inspire participants to create work that strays from their usual wheelhouse.

Each writer will generate an original one-act play by the end of the Lab.

Writers must be available for all scheduled meeting dates. Please note any scheduling conflicts or concerns on your application.

Lab Dates:

• Wednesday, February 1, 8PM - 10PM
• Saturday, February 4, 2PM - 4PM
• Wednesday, February 8, 8 PM - 10PM
• Saturday, February 11, 2PM - 4PM
• Wednesday, February 15, 8PM - 10PM
• Saturday, February 18, 2PM - 4PM
• Wednesday, February 22, 8PM - 10PM
• Saturday, February 25, 2PM- Time TBA

Each lab culminates in the bi-annual Drinks & Drama Reading Series - a three week series dedicated to presenting the first public readings of the plays presented in the lab alongside ECC company members and collaborators.

Drinks & Drama is scheduled for Tuesdays, March 14th, 21st, & 28th.
