Truffle Theatre Company submission guidelines

Founded on the principals of discovering new works, we are always in the market to hear from new playwrights. While we do accept submissions of new plays, we have a few submission guidelines:

All plays must be previously unpublished/not performed on a major stage (college and community theatre is acceptable).

At this time, we do not accept musicals.

Please only submit the best (or at least your favorite) 10 page selection from your play at this time. We will contact you if we are interested in reviewing the entire manuscript.
Please also include a brief cover letter that includes information about the author(s), approximate run time, information about the play (characters, description, brief synopsis, etc.) and anything else you would like for us to know about your or the play.

We usually respond to plays we are interested in within four to six weeks after receipt of submission.

If you are submitting for the reading series, please indicate so in the subject of the email “Reading Series Submission – Title – Author”
