Call for Scripts for NYC 2014 Festivals

No web site available

ThisMyShow Industries is a new and upcoming theatre company based out of New York. We are now accepting script submissions for entry to the NY Fringe Theatre Festival and/or Thespis Theatre Festival for the Summer 2014. The play selected will also be subject to more submissions as they come up in both New York and Florida. This My Show Industries is produced by Jeremy Wein whose credits include “Godspell” (Broadway), “The NYC Podcast Festival” (Covered In The Wall Street Journal) and is a Co-Producer of the comedy documentary “The Bitter Buddha”. ThisMyShow is also currently producing “Faux Snow” in the 2013 Thespis Festival .

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
New plays that require minimal scenery and a cast of 2 to 5 persons. All scripts should be full length plays and submitted in a PDF format. All scripts should be copyright to the playwright as well. It is preferred that the play has not been produced before.

ONCE WE SELECT THE PLAY (October 2013):
We will look to put together a reading in South Florida so our director can familiarize himself with the work. There is a chance of a full production being held in South Florida in December 2013 depending on space, success of the reading, and budgetary restraints. We will put together the creative and marketing teams to work with our office in drawing up a budget for the production. A playwright's fee will be minimal but negotiable. Any money won during production and through the Festivals will be distributed through the Company (Including Playwright, Creatives and Management).
