"The Sixth Fest--a climate fringe festival--is calling for short plays for a compilation that will run the first two weekends in June in NYC.

Seeking: *scenes,* monologues, personal accounts (real or imagined) that will help tell the local and global climate crisis story.
The pieces will be woven together into one long piece, with other types of performance in-between (movement, music, Anna Deavere Smith style interviews..)
Parameters:
--6 minutes or less
--6 characters or less
--two black cubes, a table, 4 chairs, and a kiddie pool for a set
--Very minimal props
--**Plays not meeting these parameters will not be considered**
No financial award, but you will be honored in the program, and will receive two complimentary tickets to the run.
Minor text adjustments may be made for flow and repetition issues. We ask for your permission for this in advance as part of your process due to the volume of material being received.
About the Festival:
The Sixth Fest is a fringe festival in its third year inviting events of all types to draw attention and get people engaged with the climate crisis.
With over 40 events and hundreds of participants so far, we are helping push the needle to see a livable, just future for all.
