Our short stories allow our audiences to experience in a very limited amount of time a wide range of emotions and feelings, encouraging them to ponder and explore different subjects and situations presented by our talented participants.
What We’re Looking For:
Short and Strong: Your script should deliver a powerful punch in 10 minutes or less.
Diverse Genres Welcome: Whether it’s a laugh-out-loud comedy, a tear-jerking drama, or an edge-of-your-seat thriller, we’re open to all genres.
Zero Submission Fees: It’s completely free to submit your script for consideration.
Opportunities Galore: If selected, directors from our festival will have the chance to bring your script to life. We’ll notify you about when and where it’s happening.
Submission Tips:
History Matters: Let us know if your script has graced the stage before, including the venue, festival, city, and year.
Special Roles: If you’re interested in directing or acting in your own play, or if you have a specific director and actors in mind, head over to our Full Production submission or Talent submission pages.

The IV Edition of LA Brisk Festival will be held in Santa Monica, California, at the Morgan-Wixson Theater from August 8th to September 8th 2024. The Official Selection will include 55 plays this year, 34 original short plays in English and 21 in Spanish from our open submission process to become a part of our official selection.
