Wings Theatre Script Submission Guidelines

Wings Theatre produces a year-round season of new plays by American playwrights. Plays submitted must fit into either of two categories: The Gay Plays Series (Plays or musicals with a major gay character or theme); or The New Musicals Series (Musicals on any subject or theme). Please note the following guidelines:

1. Please submit full-length plays only. No one-acts, synopses, sample pages, letters of inquiry, etc.

2. All scripts must be typed and bound.

3. For scripts to be returned they must be accompanied by an SASE. For acknowledgment of receipt, they must be accompanied by a postage-paid envelope or postcard.

4. Submissions must be made by regular mail only. No E-mail or faxes.

Scripts are accepted and read throughout the year, but are held until final decisions are made each June. Submissions received prior to May 1 each year are considered for production in the upcoming Sept - August theatre season and should expect a response during the summer. Submissions received after May 1 are held for consideration the following year.
