director seeks plays

I'm looking for new plays to direct this Summer and Fall.

If your work has an optimistic worldview or comedic tone, then you and I are well-suited for collaboration. If your work is tragic, cryptic, or depicts a lot of violence I probably am not the director for you.

I have a particular interest in plays about LGBTQ folks, but this is by no means a requirement.

Any length of play is fine. There is no deadline, and submissions are welcome from anywhere. The venue has not been secured. I'm only looking for plays in English.

I attended The City College of New York where I was a straight A student and won an award for Excellence In Directing. That said, I am relatively new to directing; I have a great deal more experience in theatre as an actor, magician, and in various technical capacities.
