DC SWAN Day seek short plays by women

DC SWAN Day seek short plays by women for its 2011 Staged Reading Marathon. Selected plays will be read in Washington DC on SWAN Day, Saturday, March 26, 2011.

There is no stipend available to playwrights (hey, we're trying -- it's tough times for grant-seekers!), but you will be credited, and there has been some press coverage in past years.

Please send plays to tgtc@earthlink.net by January 17, 2011.

A panel of three women (director, actor & playwright) will choose scripts. We will notify all who submit scripts (whether their play is chosen or not) by February 11, 2011.

Only one submission per playwright, please!
