Little Fish Theatre (San Pedro CA) is accepting scripts for our 20th Annual PICK OF THE VINE short play production to be presented in 2022.

There will be a $75 flat fee royalty payment to playwrights per play produced. (or $25 flat fee royalty if presented virtually)

Submission Guidelines:

1. Submissions accepted starting June 1, 2021. Submission deadline is June 30, 2021.

3. Submissions are only accepted via Google Form at https://bit.ly/POV2022.

4. First Play Submission is FREE.

Timeline for submissions:

1. Semi-finalists will be notified via email by mid-September. Only those playwrights whose pieces have progressed to the semi-final round will be notified.

2. Playwrights whose pieces have been chosen for Production will be notified via email in November.

Generations 2021: Guidelines and Submission Form

BETC’s new play development program, Generations, features the work of parent playwrights with children under 18. The name comes from BETC’s goals for the program: to welcome all generations into the theater to see new plays, and to empower playwrights to generate new work.

Each season, BETC selects one playwright through a national competition to join us in Boulder for a one-week residency. During the residency week, the playwright works with a professional director, dramaturg, and actors to develop the selected script. The week concludes with a public reading and post-reading conversation.

In order to support the work of parent playwrights, BETC is seeking full-length plays written by a parent with at least one child 18 years of age or younger as of June 14, 2021. Guidelines and the submission form are below. Please read carefully before submitting.
Entry Guidelines:

Plays must be full-length scripts (at least 70 minutes estimated run-time).

Eligible playwrights are parents of at least one child 18 years of age or younger as of the submission deadline. Playwrights must be U.S. residents.

Each playwright is limited to submission of one script for consideration.

Plays must be in the English language.

No musicals will be accepted.

We will not reconsider scripts that have been submitted to the Generations competition in previous years.

Scripts that have been produced by Equity or professional companies or that have been published are ineligible.

Scripts may not be under option or scheduled for production or publication as of June 1, 2021.

We will consider scripts that have had a workshop, reading, or academic production.
Residency and Prize Information:

The winning playwright will receive:

a week-long workshop residency, with daily rehearsals, culminating in a staged reading of the selected script;

the chance to rewrite and revise during the week as part of the script development experience;
a stipend for travel costs;

• $500 prize; and
• $500 childcare stipend to defray the costs associated with childcare during the residency.

The winning play will receive full consideration for production in an upcoming season. BETC will negotiate an option on the winning play and have right of first refusal on the world premiere production.

During the residency, the selected play will be rehearsed with a cast of professional actors, director, and dramaturg. The week will culminate in a public reading. This year’s Generations residency may be held online if public health circumstances dictate but our goal is to offer an in-person residency. Specific date arrangements for the residency will be made directly with the winning playwright.
Competition Deadline:

The application deadline is June 14, 2021, or when our 200-script submission cutoff is reached. Our winning playwright will be notified by September 15, 2021.

The submission form will require you to submit a blind copy of your full script as a PDF file.Please do not include your name anywhere in the sample file. The biographical and demographic info you submit will not be referenced during the selection process.
Selection process:

In our initial reading round, we read the first 20 pages of a script. Script excerpts nominated by two readers continue to the semi-finalist round, in which two readers read the full scripts and complete thorough reader responses. Highly regarded scripts become finalists. Our full committee reads all finalist scripts, then advises our producing artistic director in selecting the winning play.
FAQ’s:

Because of the volume of submissions we receive, we do not provide feedback on submitted scripts during or after the competition. We will confirm that an initial submission has been received, and notify applicants of the competition winner.

Due to available program funding and staff capacity, we will not consider scripts from grandparents or others who are not currently custodial parents of a child 18 years of age or younger. We hope to be able to expand our program to additional generations in future years, but at this time our focus is on assisting playwrights with young families.

PLAYWRIGHTS ON PARK is an exciting artistic endeavor for Playhouse on Park. Our mission is to develop and produce original plays, to foster emerging and established playwrights, and to become a leader in new play development. We aim to help establish the Greater Hartford Area as a premiere destination for the cultivation and exploration of innovative theatrical work.

Playwrights selected as part of the Playwrights on Park Reading Series will have a day of rehearsal, followed by a reading of their play and a talkback with the audience.

IMPORTANT INFO:

Playwrights MUST be able to come to West Hartford for the day of the reading and the audience discussion that follows. 

There will be a rehearsal the day of the reading in which attendance by the playwright is optional, but strongly encouraged. Transportation may be provided from NYC or New England locations by the Playhouse. Readings will be on select Sunday nights throughout the season at 7:00pm.

The ATG PlayLab, which launched in September 2020, is a professional space for BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, People of Color) and Queer (LGBTQ+) playwrights to develop their works for the stage. Led by Pandora Scooter and comprised of a total of ten playwrights, the goal for the PlayLab is to help develop marginalized voices to enable the telling of rich and varied stories from all members of our community.

ATG playwrights group seeks new members for play and professional development group. ATG PlayLab (now going into its 2nd year), is dedicated to providing a professional and supportive environment for playwrights who are both/either BIPOC and LGBTQ+ to be heard and supported. 

The group will meet once every week for 12 sessions during the Fall, Spring and Summer via Zoom. One additional meeting per month will be called for professional development discussions/workshops (these will not be required, but strongly encouraged).

Powerstories - Voices of Women in Theatre Festival

Powerstories Theatre is seeking plays written by women for the Inaugural Voices of Women Theatre Festival scheduled for October 6 – 17, 2021. Each artist will be responsible for casting, directing, and mounting the show. All productions ideally will be presented at Powerstories Theatre with an audience and live-streamed. Due to Covid-19, artists will be asked on their application to choose one of the following methods to produce their work:

• In Theatre Performance – With a socially distanced audience
• Prerecorded Performance – Prerecording on Zoom (or other platform) and live streaming using Powerstories’ platform. Director and cast must be available for post-show Q and A after the production.

Submissions are due by July 15, 2021. Registration is $20.00 per submission. (Fee will be waived for Dramatists Guild members who send a copy of their membership with their submission.) Plays will be time-stamped. An artistic committee will review all plays and proposals, and selections will be announced by August 1, 2021. 

Submissions will be reviewed in consideration of the following criteria:

• The submission is congruent with the mission of the Powerstories and the Voices of Women Theatre Festival.
• The submission supports diversity and inclusion aligned with the festival mission.
• The submission meets Powerstories’ requirements for overall quality and development.

Your main goal is to produce a quality production! We understand some of you will be having a staged reading, some a fuller production. Your play can be a full production with a minimal set or a staged reading. The ideal length is 45 to 90 minutes to allow for one whole evening or matinee. Other lengths will be considered. All authors must be willing to have plays live streamed.

Each artist will be responsible for all costs related to casting, directing, and mounting the show to achieve the festival goals. Powerstories Theatre can help to find and match a director for your production if you wish; however, you are still responsible for costs and fees. All the selected plays will be considered for possible mainstage production at Powerstories Theatre for the next or upcoming seasons.

If selected, your production cannot have had a professional production in the Tampa Bay area one month before submission or, if accepted, have a professional production scheduled within a month of debut with the Voices of Youth Theatre Festival.

Powerstories Theatre will provide our stage for final performances, rehearsal time as per the preapproved schedule, technical assistance, marketing assistance, box office assistance, high-quality live-streaming, and a copy of the live stream video. All ticket sales and proceeds will go to Powerstories Theatre and Thrü-Line.

The theatre is a black box theatre with a 26 x 13 acting stage. We will provide artists with stage lighting, sound, projection options, and a list of available stock set pieces in our theatre. If you are bringing set pieces and props, they must fit in a small van for ease of moving in and out of the theatre. If selected, artists will receive more detailed technical information.

Drama may be an excerpt from a longer work or a ten-minute play (1,400-1,600 words, no more than ten pages, Dramatists Guild format). For drama excerpts, include, on a separate page, a synopsis and a full cast of characters.

We reserve the right to excerpt longer pieces for print, in consultation with the author; works in their entirety will be printed on the web.

Chain Theatre One Act Festival

PARTICIPATION

Plays are chosen for the Chain One Act Festival based on originality, inspiration, and innovation. The background or experience of the playwright is taken into consideration, but submissions will be judged on the quality of the play. All themes or genres are welcome. Play runtime must be no shorter than 10 minutes and no longer than 1 hour. Shows will be performed in person for a vaccinated audience.

Every show will have the ability to LIVE STREAM for at least one performance.

Chain Theatre is curating the event, not producing it - each production is responsible for staffing their own director, design team and cast.

Under current conditions, all shows must be Non-Union. If AEA reintroduces Showcase Code, Chain Theatre can discuss that option at a later date.

You will assign a contact person for the piece; that person will be considered your play’s producer should it be part of the Festival.

Though we will be doing overall festival promotion, you are responsible for the marketing of your piece.

All members of your production team and cast must be vaccinated to participate. We will need proof of vaccination at the organizational meeting should you be accepted into the festival. Preferred proof of vaccination will be through the New York State Excelsior app available on your phone.

APPLICATIONS

The deadline for submitting to the 2021 Chain One Act Festival will be June 19, 2021. There are no submission or participation fees for the Chain One Act Festival. Applications may be downloaded from our website. Completed the following application and you will be directed to information on submitting your play.

After completing the application form you will need to email a PDF (no Word, Pages, or Final Draft files, please!) of the script, and a brief cover letter explaining your goals for the play.

Applications ask for a contact name, address, phone, and email. Show contacts will be the one contact point between Chain Theatre and your production. The email given will be the sole email address that Chain Theatre will use to contact you regarding acceptance, any issues regarding participation, and festival communications.

We will need an estimated running time of your piece that will be factored into the programming. As such, we will enforce this time limit. If during your dress rehearsal or performance the play runs significantly over, we may insist that you revise or forfeit your participation in the festival and any ticket split revenue.

Applications that are not complete will not be accepted. No materials will be returned.


ACCEPTANCE

Notification of acceptance status will be sent by email on or about Sunday June 27.

If you are accepted into the festival, your email will inform you of the time and location of the organizational meeting to be held on June 30. IT IS REQUIRED THAT SOMEONE REPRESENTING YOUR SHOW BE AT THE ORGANIZATIONAL MEETING. This meeting is where you will receive your performance schedule and meet your fellow participants. If there are known conflicts to your scheduled performances, this is a great opportunity to work out alternate dates with Chain Theatre and your fellow participants. The most complex scheduling issues are much more easily solved talking face-to face with everyone in the room.

We will be checking vaccination status of all participants in order to remove social distancing protocols from the state and provide the safest environment for everyone involved. There will be no exceptions. All Chain staff on site will be vaccinated as well.

Each accepted show will be given 8 free hours of rehearsal space at one of the Chain Theatre rehearsal rooms. Availability and scheduling of these hours is at the Chain Theatre’s discretion. They must be used to rehearse the show in the festival and cannot be gifted, sold or used for other purposes. Additional rehearsal hours/locations are the production’s responsibility. If you choose to rehearse at one of the Chain Rehearsal studios you can book online and use a 20% off code for festival participants.


SCHEDULING

The precise number of shows is TBD, based on number of submissions and running lengths. Each show will be guaranteed at least three performances with a possible one show extension. However, depending on the schedule there may be more. Performance blocks will be at 7 and 9pm during the week and will run throughout the weekend between 12-9pm.

There will be limited time between shows for changeovers. Keep in mind that when you are striking or setting up your show, another show is also likely striking or setting up. Minimalism rules. PLEASE FACTOR THIS TIME INTO YOUR TECHNICAL PLANS. Houses will be opened 5 minutes before the start time and will start promptly.

VOTING

In person voting will be collected by paper ballot provided on site. For streaming performances, voting will held online through the Chain Theatre Eventive site. Eventive will give every paid ticket buyer the opportunity to vote.

BOX OFFICE and TICKETING

Chain Theatre handles all aspects of ticketing and box office. Tickets will be $15 in advance, and $18 at the door. There are some discount tickets available, to be determined later.


TECHNICAL

You will need to keep the technical requirements of your show very simple. The Chain is equipped with a full light board and sound system, however the board will be shared by several shows and we will maintain a standard rep lighting plot., Keep light and sound cues as simple as possible. No show will be able to refocus lights. Each company will have only one cue-to-cue technical rehearsal in the venue which will be run by a Chain Theatre hired PSM. The PSM is also available to run the board during the performances, although you may use your own if you wish. Storage space/dressing room space is also limited and will be shared by all shows. You will be given a small, unlocked area to store your props, set pieces, and costumes, which must be completely cleared at the conclusion of your performances.

Any additional equipment your show requires should be listed on your application and approved by Chain Theatre. Chain Theatre has the right to disqualify any shows that bring in unapproved technical elements. If approved, this equipment will be provided for your show by you. Chain Theatre assumes no liability for this equipment; it is your responsibility.

PUBLICITY

Chain Theatre will publicize the festival and coordinate overall press relations, including interviews and critic attendance. You may be asked to submit publicity photos and PR materials. You are also responsible for publicizing your own show through your own press releases, mailers, handbills, busking and/or posters. Should a critic accept your invitation to see a performance, this information must be forwarded to Chain Theatre so we may coordinate this. Chain Theatre will provide a blanket press kit to help all shows promote.

EXCLUSIVITY

If you are accepted to the Chain One Act Festival, part of our agreement prohibits the performance of your show anywhere in New York, New Jersey or Connecticut any time from acceptance into the festival through October 2021. Please keep this restriction in mind when accepting other invitations to perform your show during these months, particularly before you have received acceptance status notification from Chain Theatre.

Fred Ebb Award for Composer/Lyricist 2021

Each applicant must be a composer/lyricist or composer/lyricist team wishing to create work for the musical theatre, and must not yet have achieved significant commercial success.

Application Materials:
Electronic files of up to four songs from one or more musical theatre pieces, with typewritten lyrics and a description of the dramatic context for each song; and
A completed application form.

Application Guidelines:

• All applications will be coded as they arrive. Because all submissions will be reviewed blind, please do not place name(s) of writer(s) on electronic file names, lyric sheets, or description of dramatic context. Names should only appear on the Application Form.
• MP3, ZIP, and M4A files are preferred, but Dropbox links will be acceptable as well. Dropbox files should not have time limits.
• Only musical theatre work will be considered.
• Please do not submit recordings with any audience sound.
• The applicant(s) must have written all the songs included in the submission. For example, a composer cannot submit one song with her own lyrics, and a second song with lyrics by another writer.
• No individual may appear on more than one application. You cannot apply as an individual and again as part of a team, or as part of more than one songwriting team.

American-Scandinavian Foundation Translation Awards

The American-Scandinavian Foundation annually awards three translation prizes for outstanding translations of poetry, fiction, drama, or literary prose written by a Nordic author born after 1900:
The Nadia Christensen Prize includes a $2,500 award, publication of an excerpt in Scandinavian Review, and a commemorative bronze medallion.

The Leif and Inger Sjöberg Prize, given to an individual whose literature translations from a Nordic language have not previously been published, includes a $2,000 award, publication of an excerpt in Scandinavian Review, and a commemorative bronze medallion.
The Wigeland Prize, given to the best translation by a Norwegian, includes a $2,000 award, publication of an excerpt in Scandinavian Review, and a commemorative bronze medallion.

• The prizes are for outstanding English translations of poetry, fiction, drama or literary prose originally written in a Nordic language.
• If prose, manuscripts must be no longer than 50 pages; if poetry, 25 (Do not exceed these limits). Manuscripts must be typed and double-spaced with numbered pages.
• Translations must be from the writing of one author, although not necessarily from a single work. Please include a one-paragraph description about the author.

An entry must consist of:

• One copy of the translation, including a title page and a table of contents for the proposed book of which the manuscript submitted is a part. 
• One copy of the work(s) in the original language; please send the relevant pages.
• A CV containing all contact information, including email address, for the translator; and
• A letter or other document signed by the author, the author’s agent or the author’s estate granting permission for the translation to be entered in this competition and published in Scandinavian Review.
• Translator’s names may not appear on any page of their manuscripts, including the title page.
• The translation submitted in the competition may not have been previously published in the English language by the submission deadline. (If the translation being submitted to this competition is also under consideration by a publisher, you must inform us of the expected publication date.)
• Translators may submit one entry only and may not submit the same entry in more than two competitions.
• The Translation Prize cannot be won more than three times by the same translator.

11th Annual Short Play Festival, Native Voices 2021-2022

For the 11th Annual Short Play Festival, Native Voices wants to know What is Home? For so many around the world this past year, “Home” – literal or metaphorical – has become the centerpiece of many of our lives.

What is Home? Is it a structure? Is it where you are? Or where you come from? Is it the communities in which you surround yourself, or the communities that shaped you?

At Native Voices, we understand and appreciate all the complexities that make up your “home”. Is “home” your ancestral lands? Does it live in the hearts and minds of your communities? Does it live with your Aunties and cousins? Or maybe, is “home” your studio apartment or your suitcase? Has your notion of ‘home” changed in the past year? We want to know: What’s your story? What is your home?

We want to hear from you! Share with us a glimpse of home. The only limitation is that your play must be no longer than 10-minutes. For ten minutes, you can take the audience on any journey you want. We cannot wait to see what you bring to life!

Plays chosen to participate in the 11th Annual Short Play Festival will also be entered to win the Von Marie Atchley Excellence in Playwriting award – a $1,000 cash prize!!

Full-Length Plays

Native Voices is currently accepting submissions of full-length plays (60+ pages) by American Indian, Alaska Native, Native Hawaiian, and First Nations playwrights addressing all themes and topics.
2022 Playwrights Retreat and 28th Festival of New Plays

The Retreat and Festival bring artists to Los Angeles to work on 3–4 plays through a rigorous directorial and dramaturgical commitment for 8–10 days in May/June. The Retreat culminates in public staged readings of the plays at the Autry Museum of the American West in Los Angeles and La Jolla Playhouse in San Diego. Selected playwrights receive artistic support as well as an honorarium; out-of-town artists receive roundtrip airfare plus lodging in Southern California.

Selection Process: Full-length plays (60+ pages) received by August 2, 2021 will be read and evaluated. A select number of playwrights will be invited to submit formal proposals detailing their developmental goals should their play be chosen for the short list. Scripts will then be sent to a committee of nationally recognized theatre artists for further evaluation. With their help, Native Voices selects up to four plays for the Playwrights Retreat and Festival of New Plays. Playwrights will be notified in February 2022.
A Note About the Native Voices Distance Dramaturgy Process

Months prior to residencies, selected playwrights participate in dramaturgical conversations with an assigned director and dramaturg. Workshops with these creative teams and a cast of professional actors commence once the playwright arrives on-site. It is important to note that these conversations and workshops are playwright driven, allowing the writer to shape their own developmental path. Selected playwrights should be prepared to dedicate adequate time to this process prior to arriving on-site.

We accept scripts all year long. Do you have a full-length script that has been developed and produced that you’d like us to consider for a future Native Voices production in Los Angeles? Please follow the Checklist for All Submissions below and in the Native Voices Script Submission form check the box for 2022 General Production Consideration.
Checklist for All Submissions

Please label script attachment as follows: PlayTitle_Author’s Last Name, First Initial (Example: MyNewPlay_Doe, J.doc).

All submissions must conform to a standard play-script format (one-inch margins, #12 Times or Courier font, all pages numbered).

Include a title page with full contact information (mailing address, phone numbers, e-mail address) and a draft or revision date.

Include a character breakdown at the beginning of your script.

Provide a biography of 75–100 words. Please label attachment as follows: Bio_Author’s Last Name, First Initial (Example: Bio_Doe, J.doc).

Provide a press ready photo of at least 300dpi. Please label attachment as follows: Photo_Author’s Last Name, First Initial (Example: Photo_Doe, J.doc).

Provide development history for the play. Label attachment as follows: DevHistory_PlayTitle_Author’s Last Name, First Initial (Example: DevHistory_MyNewPlay_Doe, J.doc).

Please do not send treatments or outlines. Previously submitted plays should only be resubmitted if the play has undergone significant dramatic changes. Previously produced plays should be submitted under the 2022 General Submission for Production Consideration. Plays that are not selected are kept on file for consideration for future opportunities. Playwrights are encouraged to make multiple submissions (up to three per event), but selection will be limited to only one play per playwright, per event.

Graeae Theatre Company seeks work from deaf, disabled, and neurodiverse playwrights

Our script submission window allows us to connect with Deaf, disabled, and neurodiverse playwrights who are new to us.

This opportunity is not for writers we’re already talking to. They already know that we are committed to building long-term relationships with playwrights, developing and championing their talent. This is for you if we’re not having those conversations with you yet.

Although it is unlikely that any script sent to us through the window will end up being produced by Graeae, every one of the plays submitted will receive detailed feedback. For some of you, this will mark the beginning of a lasting relationship with the company.

Please read the script submission guidelines below.

Who this is for:

• If you write for performance, you are new to Graeae, and you identify as Deaf, disabled, or neurodiverse, this is for you.
• Our definition of disability here includes those with long-term mental health conditions who may not identify as neurodiverse.

What to submit:

• We’re looking for plays written by people who identify as Deaf, disabled, or neurodiverse. It is as simple as that.
• Your play might be set in outer space or someone’s kitchen. It might have something to say about disability; it might not. The point is, if you wrote it and you identify as Deaf, disabled, or neurodiverse, we want to read it.
• And yes, you can submit plays in BSL. We also understand that not all plays are ‘written’. We will happily accept audio and video files in place of documents if that better suits your access requirements.

We will not accept:

• Plays from non-disabled writers. This includes plays written by non-disabled writers that are about or feature disabled characters.
• Plays from graduates of our Write to Play programme. Sorry guys, see you at the coffee morning.
• Prose and poetry. We wouldn’t know where to start.
• Plays in any language other than English, BSL, or SSE
• We will accept radio, television and film scripts in recognition of the fact that playtexts are not readily accessible to many people. However, Graeae is a theatre company. Before sending us anything other than a stage play, please consider whether it is our best introduction to your work.
• We accept audio and video submissions for access reasons only. We do not accept recordings of readings or productions of scripts that do exist.

How to submit:

Please email scripts@graeae.org putting ‘SCRIPT SUBMISSION WINDOW’ in the subject line
The body of your email should include the following: Your name, Contact number, Email address, short paragraph about yourself and your experience.

Your finished script must not include your name or contact details. Your play will be read anonymously and the given information will be read solely by the Literary Coordinator.

Your anonymous script should be attached to the email either as a single document (PDF, DOC, or DOCX) or as an audio or video file (AVI, WMV, MOV, or MP4) if that better suits your access requirements.
We are only able to accept one script per playwright

What happens next:
Your script gets forwarded to one of our script readers. Our readers are a diverse pool of writers, dramaturgs, directors and actors, all identifying as Deaf, disabled, or neurodiverse. Trained to read creatively, not critically, our readers look for the potential in every script they receive.
The reader will most likely write the feedback you receive. In some cases, the reader will pass the script onto the Associate Director or Literary Coordinator for a second read.
We aim to get your feedback to you within six weeks of your submission.

Submissions should be appox. 30-60 mins in length when performed, and be either written directly as a radio play, OR a one-act play that could be produced AS a radio play.

Plays should be conducive to the virtual theatre medium (few if any sets or intricate costumes, small cast, etc.)

Ascending Playwrights Program

The Ascending Playwright Program is a mentorship opportunity for new playwrights age 18-25.

Writers awarded a spot on our Ascending Playwright list will receive...

- a private digital reading of their new play featuring professional actors

- a mentorship session with our Playwright in Residence; Grant MacDermott

- a featured spot on our social media and website

We are offering 5 spots in our program. Readings will take place once a month from March to July 2021.

Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.

Application Guidelines:

- You may only submit one play.

- You may submit a short play, one act, or full-length play (no longer than two acts).

- You must be 18-25

- Your play must not have had any professional readings or productions affiliated with another theatre company.

The Mu Tang Clan: Asian American Playwrights Incubator Program

The Mu Tang Clan: Asian American Playwrights Incubator Program invites new, emerging, and experienced Asian American playwrights to apply to the 14-session program (convening virtually) where 5 playwrights (in addition to Saymoukda) will be in a peer-to-peer learning model as they write, share, and discuss topics related to the field and the influences that impact their work. 

Playwrights will participate in public presentations in August 2021 and January 2022. The public will get to see six new plays as the program will culminate in a public reading of scenes from each playwrights’ script-in-progress (full lengths, one acts, etc).

The incubator is urgent for Asian American playwrights because it’s an intentional program that offers:

A safer space for Asian American playwrights to be bold, vulnerable, and supported.

A model that is a participant-designed working-collaborative.

Focused time to write and workshop pages.

A public professional staged virtual reading of their work-in-progress.

Visibility and artistic autonomy.

$1,000 stipend to help playwright secure reading materials, software, childcare, snacks, meals, stronger wifi, etc.

This program is made possible through a generous grant from the Science Museum of Minnesota’s 2021 Race Exhibition Mini Grants and through the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation.

Submissions are now being accepted for the Equity Library Theater of New York Summer 2021 Virtual Play Festival. Seeking short plays (no more than 15 pp/minutes), from playwrights from across the globe. Also seeking monologues (no more than 4pp/minutes). Musicals welcome! 

We post your YouTube link of the performance to the festival site for voting. One submission per playwright. No submission fee.
