The winning play will be read in May 2012.

AracaWorks, Araca’s week-long play reading series to be held for the fourth time in May, is once again calling for play submissions from playwrights in post-collegiate universities and professional study programs nationwide.

The style, subject and length of the submissions are entirely up to the writers.

One play will be chosen, and the selected playwright will have the opportunity for his/her play to be performed in a free and public reading to be held in May in New York City, and directed and performed by a New York City creative team. The Araca Group will assume all travel, room and boarding expenses to and from your university.

Plays should be submitted in .pdf format to aracaworks@gmail.com accompanied with a signed Release Form. (see web site for Release Form.)
