Distilled Theatre is now accepting play submissions

(no web site available) Distilled Theatre is now accepting play submissions for their first inaugural production. Plays are welcome that have not been previously produced. Chosen scripts will be showcased in a staged reading of an excerpt of the play. A vote will determine which play will continue to be fully produced as a mainstage production. The Playwright will be able to be involved in the creative process. Guidelines: Plays must be for 8 actors, or fewer No Musicals will be accepted Previously produced plays will not be considered (staged readings do not count) Plays must be at least an hour in length To enter your play for consideration, please submit the following: An electronic copy of your play (word document preferred) to: distilledtheatre@gmail.com Please include the name of your play and character descriptions Your contact information All plays must be submitted by April 15th. Distilled Theatre produces high quality and innovative theatre that breathes life into original works. While staying true to the vision of the playwright, our work focuses on new plays that are accessible to all theatre goers and generate thought-provoking dialogue.
