We encourage submissions that inspire open and meaningful conversations from playwrights of any and all experience levels. We seek storytelling that challenges expectations, expands perspectives, and celebrates bravery, complexity, and inclusivity. Above all, we value work that excites and engages our community in new and powerful ways.
The festival is tentatively scheduled for August 9th or 10th, with official dates to be announced soon.
For any questions, please email scripts@theatricals.org
We are accepting works at all stages of development
Plays and musicals with fewer than 8 actors needed for the reading are most likely to be chosen
Work written explicitly for the virtual platform will not be considered.
Please submit only one project.
