B3 Theater, Inc., of Phoenix, Arizona, is seeking scripts for our First Feminist Festival of Shorts, performing January/February 2024. These will be fully rehearsed shows. Each scriptwriter chosen will receive $50.
This festival has the theme of celebrating women, female-presenting persons, and non-binary individuals.
The form will ask you to choose if you would like to self-identify as one of the previous categories. Abstaining from answering or answering male or male-presenting will not disqualify you from being chosen. All voices are welcome.
Otherwise the subject matter is open, although preference will be given to experimental and progressive works. There should be minimal setting, prop, and costume requirements. All genres welcome, including monologues, with the exception of musicals.
Submissions must be received no later than 11:59 PM, July 31st, 2023.

- Entries should be 5-20 pages, including the title and cast page.
- One entry per playwright, please.
- Previous productions are okay.
- International submissions are welcome, but the text must be in English.
- The format may be docx or pdf.
