Clamour Theatre Company seeks 10-minute holiday plays

Now accepting submissions of 10 minute holiday themed plays from which one piece will be chosen for a single performance in December as part of an outdoor event called "COCOA AND CAROLS" in Orange Park, Florida.

Requirements:

• Holiday theme.
• Family-friendly (we are in a VERY conservative area).
• Non-musical.
• 2 to 6 characters.
• Minimal props and costumes. Play will be performed as part of a program that will also include carols sung by choirs from local schools, so there will be very limited time for set-up and strike.
• Maximum length of 10 pages (not including title and character pages) in standard play format and 12 point type.
• Previously produced plays are welcome.
• The event is free to the public. There will be a small royalty of $25 for the playwright whose play is chosen.
• You may submit up to two (2) plays in PDF format. (Single email for submissions of multiple plays is fine, but each play should be a separate attached PDF.
• Please use HOLIDAY PLAY SUBMISSION 2023 as the subject line of your email.

 You will receive an email acknowledgement of receipt of your submission. We hope to make a selection by August 10th. You will be notified either way.
