WE ARE ACCEPTING MEMBERSHIP APPLICATIONS FOR CSP ARTIST COLL

Upcoming membership period: March 2023-Feb 2024

1) As per our mission, members are either of Caribbean ancestry or nationality.

2) Members agree to attend one monthly Writer's Room (online gatherings). Duration: 3 hours per session.

3) Members have the option of sharing up to 10 pages of current work (film, tv or theatre) and get feedback (members will cold read the pages for each other.)

4) Members will sign up to share pages (preferably a month ahead of time)

5) Fellow members, CSP’s dramaturg and AD will provide feedback on works

6) If time allows, meetings will close with a 30 minute silent writing session.

7) Members agree to be Conch Shell Productions ambassadors

Sharing CSP weekly posts via social media
Getting the word out about all online and in person CSP events.
Introduce CSP to possible supporters, sponsors, new audiences, and donors.

8) Members must attend a minimum of 80% monthly meetings and online events.

In-Person events - when possible.

9) Membership in the collective is a yearly membership at no cost to members.

10) Members are welcome to extend their membership into the following year

11) Annual CS New Works Reading Series - November 2023 (dates tbd)

Artistic Director and Dramaturg will greenlight works to be included in the reading series
Playwrights will self-produce their plays for this event
Members have the option to produce a private or public reading of new works - Max cast size: 5.
CSP will finance part or the whole cost of the reading

a) Private readings will be hosted online via Zoom; only invited guests.

b) Public readings will take place online or in-person - depending on the location of the writer (only NYC-based writers are eligible for in-person readings) and COVID restrictions

c) CSP budget for readings - tbd.

d) Reading date(s) in November 2023
