SUBMIT YOUR SHORT PLAY to...
Stage Partners wants YOUR best 10-minute play for our next collection. We all want strong women characters for our young actresses to play, and who knows better how to write those women than YOU.
Submit your play below by November 15th, 2019.
If selected to be included in the collection you'll receive:
-A publishing and licensing deal for your play to be included in our newest collection IT’S HER SAY. You'll be a published playwright!
-A free production of a Stage Partners play for your school! (Script Pack and up to 3 performances)
-Recognition and a guest interview on our blog!
The Rules:
You have to be a theater teacher.
You must identify as a woman (cis/trans/GNC/non-binary).
Your play must about 10 minutes in length (but up to 15 mins is okay) and must feature at least one prominent, dimensional female/ female-identifying role. Sorry, no solo pieces.
Your play must be able to be performed in schools (no foul language, no adult content — you know the drill).
You must own exclusive rights to your play. It’s great if it was already produced, but it can’t already be published.
Otherwise, the sky is the limit! Comedy, drama and everything in between goes. We know you know what works, you're all pros.
LIMIT ONE SUBMISSION PER PERSON.
