In line with our mission, Brelby believes in fostering an environment where aspiring playwrights can see their works come to fruition. Every Brelby main stage season includes at least one world premiere production.

Our Studio Series spotlights three playwrights each season, by producing their works in a stripped down black box setting. We focus on the text itself, to give voice to the playwright. We’re proud to have featured works by several local playwrights.

We are always accepting submissions from interested playwrights. We don’t believe in charging a submission fee. So send us your plays, and be sure to include a quick synopsis, a resume and/or bio, and anything else that you might feel is pertinent for us to know. Email your scripts to SubmissionsOnly@brelby.com.

The submission deadline to be considered for our 2017 season is April 30, 2016.
