Endeavor Ensemble seeks full-length plays

Endeavor Ensemble is seeking full-length, unproduced new plays for a staged reading and potential full production during the 2014-2015 season.

Endeavor Ensemble strives to close the gap between the development and production of new work, using collaborative dramaturgical development that leads to a guaranteed full production, demonstrating our commitment to the playwrights whose work we select. We are also committed to collaborating with a diverse group of playwrights, actors, directors, and dramaturgs who are able to bring their varied experiences to the work.

We are interested in forming long-term partnerships with emerging playwrights who have strong perspectives, voices, and senses of humor; who are engaged with current events and social issues, both domestically and globally; and who make bold choices in their writing. This can be in the form of an entirely original story, or a new take on a well-known story.

While scripts should be complete drafts, they do not need to be performance-ready, as dramaturgical work is built into this process.
