Center of the World Festival announces their Amateur Playwright Competition for 10-minute Eco-drama plays.
DETAILS
This playwrighting competition is open to "everyperson" without age and geographic restriction, but honoring all laws relating to citizenship and under-age minors participation. Non-citizens must certify legal right to participate in this competition. Minors (children to age 18 years) must have signed parental consent.
Competition is restricted to English language submissions only.
No collaborations are accepted--single authorship only.
No "X" rated material.
No Fee, but donations suggested (minimum $10.00).
Grand Prize $500.
Submission Deadline is 4/30/12.
Festival dates are 8/17/12 to 8/19/12.
Venue is Pine Mountain Club (PMC), Kern County, California. PMC is a small community nestled within the Los Padres National Forest, near the historic spiritual site of Mount Pinos, worshipped by the Chumash Indians as the center of the world (Liyikshup), "the point where everything is in balance."
Only "hard-copy" paper "snail-mail" submitted applications are accepted. E-Mail scripts will not be accepted. Send to:
