Deadline: August 20, 2025
Call for Submissions: LAAFTRRRRR – An Anthology of 1-Minute Comic Plays (Volume 2)
Lights. Action. Absurdity. Repeat.
We’re thrilled to announce LAAFTRRRRR , a fast-paced, genre-defying anthology of 1-minute comic plays that pack a punch, tickle the funny bone, and leave audiences laughing out loud — or at least scratching their heads in delight.
LAAFTRRRRR (Loosely Arranged Anthology of Fast, Twisted, Hilarious, Ridiculous, and Reckless Reads) is looking for short, sharp, and wildly creative one-minute plays that defy expectations and embrace the absurd, the darkly comic, the satirical, and the surreal.
If you’ve ever wanted to write a play that starts with a sentient toaster, ends with a breakup via interpretive dance, or features a corporate meeting for interdimensional beings — this is your moment.
