AR Productions is seeking new musical submissions for an immersive staged reading to be put on in Houston, TX in Spring 2024. The staged reading will be of a selected SAMPLE of the work, and showcased alongside other upcoming musicals! Audiences will have the opportunity to view multiple show snippets at the event, and will vote at the end which should then be a fully produced stage reading. Team does not need to be local to Houston. We welcome new musicals that are in the process of being workshopped -- this is an opportunity to get a new work on its feet in front of an audience!
Please submit: sample tracks, the first ten pages of your show, or anything that best showcases your work to arproductionsnyc@gmail.com.
In addition, please include in the body of the email or in an attached document:
- Title of Show
- Composers, Book Writers, and Lyricists
- Genre
- Rating/Intended audience age
- Trigger warnings
- Length (or goal length) of piece
- Cast Size
