JACK will be accepting submissions to the annual performance festival, Radical Acts August 18th-September 10th!

Radical Acts is a 10 night performance festival where each night different artists showcase their interpretations of “radical.” Previous festival participants have embraced radical joy, radical mayhem, radical empathy, and radical experiments in design and of course, radical confrontations with today’s pressing issues!

Eligibility
We invite New York artists to apply within, outside, and in-between artistic mediums. We encourage you to apply with dance, music, theater, spoken word, puppetry, performance art and more.

Timeline

• Applications open: Friday, August 18th
• Submission deadline: Sunday, September 10th at 11:59pm
• Applicant notification: Mid October
• Schedule confirmation: End of October
• Festival Rehearsals: November - early December
• Festival Dates: December 6 - December 16

Each project will receive $800 to be used as the artist sees fit.

Please consider this fee in relationship to the scope of the project you are applying with.

What JACK Provides

• Lighting Designer
• Stage manager for day of support and to run cues for your tech & performance
• 3 hour spacing rehearsal at JACK
• 3 hour tech day rehearsal on the day of your performance
• Press and Marketing
