Build a toolbox of the fundamentals, so your first play (and each play you write after that!) can be built on a strong foundation.

This class will guide you through the development of your first draft, providing concrete deadlines, constructive feedback, and a collaborative environment to get your ideas on the page.

As soon as you finish your last line of dialogue, the need for rewrites begins. This class will help you tackle the revision process and develop a stronger version of your play.

Study the specialized set of rules for comedy to shape your ideas, structure your plot, develop believable characters, and write witty dialogue.
Write a full-length play using Anton Chekhov's The Cherry Orchard as a blueprint!
Focus on the core elements of writing for TV—from premise to outline to pilot.
Use games, ensemble-building exercises, and improvisation to create stories collectively, culminating in a showing of a devised piece specifically built for the online platform.
