Call for Submissions: “8 in 48” Idaho Short Play Festival for Young Audiences

Treasure Valley Children’s Theater seeks new short plays for young audiences for the second “8 in 48 Idaho” Short Play Festival. 

Submissions are accepted February 1, 2017 through May 31, 2017.

 Winning selections are mounted as a part of the 8 in 48 Idaho Short Play Festival on September 9, 2017 in Meridian, Idaho. Cash prizes are offered to 3 of the 8 plays. '''

Submission criteria: Entries must be ten (10) minutes or less in length, previously unproduced, and suitable for families and young audiences.

No more than two submissions per playwright will be accepted. submissions relating to this year's theme (Courage) will be given strong consideration.
