Exquisite Corpse Company is seeking writers to participate in the Spring 2016 Writer's Lab and Drinks & Drama Reading Series.
What is Writers Lab?
Led by ECC Literary Director, Blake Bishton, this month long intensive is designed to create a safe space for playwrights to come together and experiment. Writer's Lab encourages writers to create new and refreshing work. Following a unique structure that mirrors ECC's larger development process, the lab aims to inspire participants to create work that strays from their usual wheelhouse. Each writer will generate an original one-act play by the end of the Lab.
Writer's Lab culminates in Drinks & Drama - a cocktail infused reading series where each play developed in the Lab receives a staged reading by the company.
Writer’s Lab Spring 2016 will meet on Tuesday evenings and Saturday afternoons, April 6th - April 30th. Drinks & Drama will run on Tuesday evenings in May.
How to Submit
To submit, please send us a resumé and a sample of your writing approximately 10 pages in length. This can be taken from a larger work, or be a stand alone piece.
Deadline for submissions is March 18, 2016 at Midnight.
