Written by Nathaniel Sam Shapiro, directed by Saheem Ali
Fifteen years after Columbine, with school shootings continuing to proliferate the national headlines, Nathaniel Sam Shapiro’s The Erlkings, gets its world premiere. Named for a Goethe poem in the day planner of Eric Harris, The Erlkings recounts the days leading up to the Columbine shooting. Taken from public record and private journals, Shapiro weaves together scenes from the lives of Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold, as they plan one of the most horrific killing sprees in US history.

A new play by Ricardo Pérez González, developed & directed by Brad Raimondo
It was the War to End All Wars. It was a Christmas like no other. These are the men who made history. In Fields Where They Lay is a play with music that tells the incredible true story of the World War I Christmas Truce – the spontaneous ceasefire between British and German soldiers that began with the singing of Christmas carols across No Man’s Land on the night of December 24th, 1914. Partially based on the letters and diaries of real frontline soldiers, the play marks the 100th anniversary of the truce by bringing this stirring and unsettling, hopeful and tragic story to life in the words of the men who lived it.
