Sarah Congress is an award-winning comedic playwright represented by Anthony Tall in Los Angeles. She is also a script doctor for film, television and theatre. Her play Dubai Chocolate is one of three new plays accepted in the 2026 All Exits New Jersey Play Lab Statewide Play Reading Series and will be produced this November at River Union Stage. Her romantic period piece Last Sunrise was produced by NYLon Fusion Theatre Co. in their Gilded Cage play festival June 2025 at TADA. Last Sunrise was presented with writers: John Patrick Shanley, Lyle Kessler (Orphans) and Migdalia Cruz (Fur). Her ten-minute play Overdose won 2nd place for BEST SHORT in the 2023 Downtown Urban Arts Festival at Playwrights Horizons.
