SUBMISSION FORM
Length: Submissions must be between 8 and 12 minutes in performance time and a maximum of 15 pages in length.
Format: Scripts should be formatted in standard playwriting style and submitted as a PDF.
Eligibility: Submissions must be original works. Preference is given to works not previously produced or performed.
Cast Size: Scripts must feature a cast of no less than two and no more than three actors.
Staging Requirements:
Scripts should be suitable for a minimalist staging format.
Minimal use of props, lights, sound, or other technical elements is strongly encouraged and will be considered in the selection process.
Preference given to scripts with little or no scene changes.
Originality: Scripts must be original; works with no other rightsholders than the author submitting the work for consideration. and not generated in whole or in part by artificial intelligence.
Content: Consideration will be given to scripts that align with Authenticity Theater's mission. We seek content that speaks to relevant societal themes such as mental illness, substance abuse, divorce, LGBTQ issues, poverty, domestic violence, immigration, sexual abuse, aging, grief, relationship issues, loneliness, and more.
