Up to 250 residencies and fellowships are now offered annually. Ragdale encourages applications from artists representing the widest possible range of perspectives and demographics, and to that end, emerging as well as established artists are invited to apply. Fellowships: 25-30 fellowships are offered each year. Fellows do not pay a residency fee. Fellows receive a stipend of $500 or more, see fellowships page for more details about the awards. Fellowship awards are disclosed upon acceptance. We do not limit fellowships to the listed categories, and as we seek diverse voices and representations to enrich our artists' experiences, we encourage people of all backgrounds to apply. In the application, you may be asked to describe how you meet the eligibility requirements of this fellowship (500 word maximum per fellowship category).
