HOW TO SUBMIT YOUR PLAY FOR CONSIDERATION
Submission period: August 1, 2015 - September 20, 2015
Winner will be announced on this website in June 2016.
Due to reading constraints, to give the best attention to your plays,
we will accept only the first 200 plays received.
We will announce on this site when that limit has been reached,
if it that occurs before September 20, 2015.
Unfortunately, plays will not be returned if sent in after capacity has been reached.
We require one play per author, original, full-length, unproduced prior to submission, in English.
For this years contest only, we are making the transition from paper to electronic format and will require BOTH paper and electronic copies of your play. Please DO NOT send your electronic portion prior to August 1, 2015.
- No adaptations, translations or musicals will be accepted.
- Please submit a resume with your play.
- No electronic submissions will be accepted.
- Please do not send plays before submission date.
- Plays cannot be returned.
We offer to the playwright whose play is selected:
$1,000 grant
Professional reading when feasible
Listing of winning author and play title on our web site
Letters of results will be sent to the winning and semifinalist playwrights only. All others should check this web site in June 2016.
