Seeking Short Play and Script Submissions

Nylon Fusion Collective seeks plays for  "This Round’s on Us", an April Fools' weekend short play festival. Plays should not be longer than 10 pages and/or minutes (monologues not longer than two pages and/or minutes.) Large casts okay but minimal props and costumes. Sorry, no musicals. The premise is up to you, but all plays must be thematically linked to April Fools Day, be original and never been produced before. Allow your imagination to explore the themes of mischief, deceit and surprise!

Authors agree to permit Nylon Fusion Collective to produce their submitted play if the company wishes to do so. The company is responsible for all aspects of production including selecting a director and casting. The author retains full copyright and ownership of their play. Participation in the rehearsal process may be needed; authors must be residents of the NYC metropolitan area. Performances will be in NYC. No pay.

Nylon Fusion Collective, a non-profit theatrical ensemble, is also seeking aspiring television writers and playwrights for a new comedic theatrical project. Writers must have an interest in and knowledge of classic television shows of the last fifty years. Experience writing web-series or campus television shows a plus. Writers should submit a cover letter, resume and sample 20-30 minute sitcom script. Scripts based on actual televison shows or episodes are allowed. Playwrights should live in NYC area to participate in development and rehearsal process.
