Epiphany Theatre Company wants your script

web site

We here at Epiphany were overwhelmed with the multitude of talent we received. If your play was not picked for our Season Beta, do not despair! All shows are still up in the running for Season 1, which will be announced in late March of 2012. Thank you again for all of your brilliant work and we'll see you on the stage!

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES:

original script
90 minutes or less
may be full-length plays, one-acts, translations, adaptations, and musicals
any subject matter
preference will be shown for scripts that emphasize the fantasical (think Neil Gaiman or Terry Pratchett - though no adaptations of these authors, please).

Submissions can be sent to Epiphany Theatre at Epiphanytheatreco {at} gmail {dot} com.
Please include:

mailing and email address
a synopsis of the script
cover letter detailing the development and/or production history of the play

Questions? Email: Epiphanytheatreco {at} gmail {dot} com

Note: At this point in time we are hoping to focus on adaptations of royalty-free work. As we get our ducks in a row, we will eventually be looking for adapters to work with some well-known authors' writing.

Thank you for submitting!

Our Wish List:

A post-apocalyptic Tartuffe
A steampunk version of Offenbach's Tales Of Hoffman (this does not need to remain in opera format - but the opportunity to integrate Barcarolle or The Doll Song would be great)
Grimm's Fairy Tales (done in any style!)
Any H.G. Wells, H.P. Lovecraft, Edgar Allan Poe, Bram Stoker or Mary Shelley
Shows with a post-apocalyptic, steampunk, fantasy, or comic book feel (or all of the above!)

There is no pay (yet!), but you will have the opportunity to attend rehearsals (if desired), and sell your work at our box office.
