Dezart Performs 4th Annual Play Reading Series Call for Entries – submissions accepted October 15, 2011 through November 21, 2011.

Dezart Performs is a professional theatre company in the Palm Springs area dedicated to bringing new and exciting theatrical experiences to the Coachella Valley. The 4th Annual Play Reading Series will be held audience members will vote for their favorite play of the series. The "Audience Favorite" will be produced and staged at the beginning of Dezart Performs' fifth season in the Fall of 2012.

Submission Guidelines:

• Plays can be any length but require no more than 2-4 actors.

• Production elements must be kept to a minimum, one setting preferred and no special technical requirements.

• Plays previously considered for the Annual Play Reading Series will not be accepted.

• Plays must not have been previously produced in the Coachella Valley.

• All submissions must include a cover page with:

Play Title
A brief synopsis (1 paragraph) of the play and cast requirements
Author's Name

• Playwrights may submit by mail or email - Two copies of the script required via mail; one PDF for email submission.

There is no charge for mailed submissions, a $10.00 copy fee for emailed submissions.

• Submissions must be postmarked or emailed by November 21, 2011.
