Deadline: July 15, 2026 at midnight
We are seeking original musical submissions for our 2026-2027 season. Run time can be anywhere from 90-140 minutes. The original musical must be unproduced and unpublished and written/composed without the use of AI. No jukebox musicals please.
- Please email all scripts and recordings to submissionsprt@gmail.com
- Please send TWO (2) PDF or Word copies of your script – one with full name and contact info, optional personal info (gender/pronouns, ethnicity, etc.), and an acknowledgement that the play is new and unproduced; the other “blind” – this copy will go to the readers.
- Music must already be composed and a proof of concept demo attached to any submission emails. For the music, you may send us a Google Drive, OneNote, WeTransfer or Dropbox link
- There is no submission fee; however, the selected creator(s) must join PRT for a one-year membership term. The base level is free, with priced tiers with member benefits above that. You may only submit 1 show per writer.
- Please keep your set minimal, preferably a unit set – we perform in a small black box. Please also limit the number of characters – no more than 6.
The creator(s) will receive a stipend of $250 and a full production in Summer 2027.
