Surfside Playhouse is seeking summer-themed 10 minute scripts for an upcoming Readers’ Theater production.
Musicals strongly encouraged. Plays welcome.
Theme examples include:
beach days, vacations, summer camp, family reunions, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, road trips, romance, friendships, coming-of-age moments, bonfires, sunshine, and more.

Submission Window: April 20 – May 1
One submission per playwright
Requirements:
• 10 minutes max
• 6 characters or fewer
• Title page with playwright name, email, city
• Musicals must include book, music, lyrics (with cities)
• First page must include character breakdown + 2–3 sentence synopsis
• Musicals must include score + demos (with and without vocals)
Selected works will be presented as part of Surfside Playhouse Readers’ Theatre on May 30th at 2pm in Cocoa Beach.
