We are thrilled to open this opportunity for the next Mazumdar Award. Entries will be accepted March 1-15, 2026. The winning play will receive a cash award and a full production in an upcoming subscription season at the Alleyway (plus royalties).
One entry, per playwright, per season will be accepted.
Your play should be original, full length (75+ minutes), unpublished & unproduced.
This is for finished plays and musicals that are ready for production. We are not accepting drafts, proposals, or outlines at this time.
We suggest submitting a play with fewer than 10 actors.
