HERE WE GO is a site-specific live-performance festival in NYC, and we are seeking submissions for our Winter 2019 Festival!
HERE WE GO is a bi-annual site-specific performance festival. The festival’s goal is to present authentic, multidisciplinary and original content, as well as build a networking platform for emerging artists. Each iteration is built around a specific location. Creative teams will be encouraged to stage the pieces in a manner that interacts with the environment in an innovative way. We present work that incorporates multiple artistic disciplines which may include text, movement and music.
This Winter’s festival will be held during the first week of December in Brooklyn, New York. The festival will have two performances in one evening. Each performance will include all plays presented consecutively.
TO SUBMIT:
We are seeking plays and live performance pieces that are 8-20 minutes long.
Please include in your submission whether or not you have other artists (directors, actors etc.) already attached to the project.
FOR PLAYS: Please send the entire play in PDF form along with your resume to herewegosubmissions@gmail.com.
FOR OTHER LIVE PERFORMANCE PIECES: Please send us a video of a selection from the piece, or from a similar project that was created/facilitated by you, along with a description of the piece that you are submitting. If the piece includes text, you may send that as well. Submit these materials along with anything else that you think will help us to understand the piece you are creating, and your resume to herewegosubmissions@gmail.com.
Please note that we will not accept submissions that include copyrighted music or text that you do not own the rights to.
