Shellscrape Theatre Co. is a fiscally sponsored non-profit company that produces adapted and original work. Based in NYC, we seek to generate radical and deconstructed performances that encourage a revitalized sense of identity.
We are seeking new full length play submissions and proposals for original work for our 2019 - 2020 mainstage season. For our third season, we are focusing on narratives that explore the absolute extremities of human experience. This encompasses stories from many unconventional walks of life and is broad enough to include even the wildest pieces. Please be advised that we are especially interested in female identifying, non-binary, gender nonconforming, playwrights of color, and LGBTQ+ artists.
