CHROMATICO LAB seeks new plays

CHROMATICO LAB is looking for submissions of NEW (not previously produced) plays or musicals by playwrights from underrepresented backgrounds (i.e. African-American, Asian, Hispanic, LGBT, female, disabled, etc.). Selected works will get a staged reading to be held at Rattlestick Playwrights Theater in the West Village and will get invaluable support throughout the development process.

If interested, please submit a script and a short statement of how you fit into an underrepresented community in the theater and how a reading will help you at this stage of your process to:

All types of plays are acceptable. Full-length, one-acts, 10 minute, etc. Keep in mind that you MUST have secured rights for adaptations of copyrighted works.
