Eastbound Summer 2012 “XII”

Theatre seeks short one-act plays for production in July. The theme of Eastbound Summer 2012 will be “XII”. 5 finalists will receive a production of their play, and compete for the Summer Audience Award.

Guidelines
Deadline is February 17, 2012.
There is no submission fee.
There is no compensation for performance.
Playwrights will maintain all rights to their material.
Playwrights may submit more than one play.
Finalists will be notified via email unless playwright requests otherwise.
Scripts should contain a minimum of furniture, props and technical cues.
Submissions must be unpublished, original one-act plays of 10-15 pages in length, inspired by the theme “XII” or the number 12.
We prefer submissions to be completely new plays, written specifically for this event.
Please submit your script and a cover letter explaining how the theme “XII” or the number 12 inspired your work.
