“Everyone belongs to everyone else.”
Fresh Words-An International Literary Magazine is seeking bold, imaginative, and thought-provoking one-minute plays inspired by the chillingly utopian world of Aldous Huxley’s Brave New World .
In a world where people are bred, not born , and happiness is a chemical equation , what space is left for the soul? We invite playwrights and writers to explore the chilling utopia of Aldous Huxley’s Brave New World — through the sharp, compact lens of the one-minute play .
Explore the delicate balance between pleasure and control, freedom and conditioning, identity and conformity. From designer lives to emotionless societies, from genetic caste systems to happiness as a commodity — we want your most distilled theatrical visions that reflect Huxley’s vision of a future where everything is perfect… except freedom.
Whether satirical, surreal, dystopian, or deeply personal, your play should question what it means to be human in a world built for compliance.
