The Marsh is looking for solo performers for its MarshStream Performer Spotlight Series

web site

Deadline: June 7, 2021 9PM PST

The Marsh is looking for solo performers for its MarshStream Performer Spotlight Series!

For 32 years The Marsh has been a home for solo performers developing new work and with the rise of COVID-19 they stayed true to their mission by starting MarshStream. MarshStream launched in April 2020 and has received an overwhelmingly enthusiastic response by putting on over 800 shows in the first year, including the first MarshStream International Solo Fest. Each week the Performer Spotlight Series has a new headliner with a live audience.

We invite solo performers from all over the world to submit their Zoom-friendly solo shows today!

We are looking to book new solo performers on a rolling basis. So if you have a great solo show, please send us your script and a video link so we can see a portion of you performing the show. We will be accepting full length, approximately 60 minute shows. Due to the nature of the medium, we have a post show LIVE Q & A with the performer. After the performance we offer the opportunity to join our Video on Demand Library.

To learn more about us, we encourage you to head to our MarshStream page here: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCaceTZwYH0JoGDXis4y1uwA and our website here: https://themarsh.org/

For our weekend Performer Spotlights we treat them as creative business partnerships. We work together to build the audience, we draft press releases and speak to our expansive audience via our newsletter (over 20K subscribers) and social media; and you by engaging and connecting with your audience and fans.

Because it is a partnership, sliding-scale ticket revenue is split 50/50. (You will also receive 50% of any proceeds from VOD sales.) Tickets generally cost $15-35.

There is no submission fee.

Please submit by June 7th at 9pm PT.
