East End Fringe Festival

Early Bird Submissions pay no fee on entries by December 15, 2017. December 16 through March 16, a $25 non-refundable submission fee is due with application, via PayPal.

This diverse and intimate theatrical event will debut Summer 2017 at the historic Vail Leavitt Music Hall in Riverhead New York. As a catalyst for cultural and community development, The East End Fringe Festival is dedicated to connecting adventurous emerging and established artists, appreciative audiences and supportive businesses and organizations to foster the growth of creative arts on Long Island.

Accepted entries will be notified the week of April 15. Your acceptance of participation in the festival will be confirmed by our receipt of your signed agreement with a money order or cashier’s check for $300 by May 1.

No refunds for withdrawals after May 1, 2017. Exceptions will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Each accepted entry will be scheduled for three performances, including one prime time slot, during the course of the Festival.

The Vail-Leavitt Music Hall is equipped with basic lighting and sound. It is up to the performing company to provide additional equipment if required. (see "About Us" for theater specs)

East End Fringe Festival will provide a lighting/sound technician for 1 tech rehearsal and 3 performances.

East End Fringe Festival does not provide sets, props, or equipment and as storage space is limited, arrangements must be made in advance.

Each production will be given a 15 minute load-in and 15 minute load-out time for each show.

Use of fog, smoking, open flame, guns firing on stage, stage blood, bubble machines and paint are prohibited. Contact East End Fringe Festival for possible exceptions.

Each production is responsible for securing all rights, royalties, copyrights, and union waivers for published works or Equity actors and must provide proof upon acceptance in the Festival.

Each production will receive 30% of ticket sales for their performances.
