Obligatory Theatre Co. is seeking unpublished and unproduced full-length play submissions for its staged reading series. Actors, directors, space, and marketing will be provided by the company. Playwrights involvement with casting and rehearsals is at the discretion of the creative team. Plays may be any subject or genre.
To apply, submit the following:
- Complete draft of a full-length play
- Brief synopsis
- Character breakdowns
- Playwright’s Resume
- Cover letter
Deadline for submission is August 30th.
One script per author.
Scripts should be properly formatted and submitted as a PDF. Readings will be produced at no cost to the writer. Tickets to the reading are free. An audience talkback will follow the reading at the discretion of the playwright and creative team. Submissions accepted on a rolling basis.
