Sitting Shotgun is accepting submissions for scripts and directors for #ShotgunReadings, a series of readings to be produced in our fall season.
#ShotgunReadings will be produced at Sitting Shotgun's SQUARE1, our studio space at 885 Park Ave in Brooklyn. These readings are workshops for which Sitting Shotgun will provide free space and marketing as a part of our fall season.
Writers, please submit your scripts/librettos (can be excerpts of 15-20 pages) with your resume, a brief synopsis of your piece, and tell us how you feel your piece fits within Sitting Shotgun's vision of intersectional and inclusive artmaking.
Directors, please submit your resume, a link to your website (or production photos/videos), and tell us about yourself and the kind of theater you are interested in making.
Submissions are due by Monday July 9 at midnight, please send materials to sittingshotgun@gmail.com.
