All of Page 73′s programs are specifically for early-career playwrights. Each year, Page 73 offers five primary programs:
- a New York City or world premiere production of a new play that marks the professional premiere of that playwright in New York City;
- the P73 Playwriting Fellowship to one playwright;
- a week-long summer residency program on the Yale University campus to four playwrights;
- Interstate 73, a writing group that consists of six to eight playwrights; and
- Page 2, an extensive workshop offering a lengthy rehearsal process and design support to one play in development.
Please note our primary means of receiving submissions for all of our programs is through our Development Programs application.
Though the P73 Playwriting Fellowship is the only program awarded solely on the basis of these applications, participants of the Yale Residency, Interstate 73, Page 2, and the annual production are chosen primarily from playwrights who have gotten to know Page 73 through this application process.

The deadline for the 2015 Page 73 Development Programs Application is Thursday, May 1st, 2014, at 11:59pm EST.
Page 73's annual application process is the primary way we meet new playwrights and stay engaged with those playwrights within our mission whom we are familiar with. Below please find the application form for all three 2015 development programs. Click on each heading for more information; the application form and upload portal can be found in the final bar. Kindly follow all instructions below. There is no fee to apply.
Once you have submitted your completed application you should see a confirmation screen as well as receive a confirmation email. If you have any questions regarding the online application, please email rachel@page73.org.
1. The applicant must be a US resident at the time of participation;
2. The applicant must have completed at least 2 full-length plays or at least 3 one-act plays;
3. The applicant must have made a commitment to playwriting as a professional goal;
4. The applicant must have never received a production of his/her work in New York City that was larger than an Actors' Equity Showcase Code presentation; and
5. The applicant must not be enrolled in a degree/certificate program at the time of participation.
