CALL FOR PLAYWRIGHTS
FOR THE 7th ANNUAL VERY SHORT PLAY FESTIVAL
Submission Deadline: April 2, 2013

The Arts Guild is calling for plays for our Very Short Play Festival. Submissions cannot exceed TEN MINUTES IN LENGTH when fully staged. Writers of ANY AND ALL AGES are encouraged to submit their work. There are no restrictions on genre or content, just on the length of the play. Submissions can be complete short plays or stand-alone excerpts from longer works.

The selected youth plays (those rated G or PG) will be performed on Friday night, May 3. The selected adult plays (those rated PG-13 and up) will be performed on Saturday night, May 4, 2013. On their performance night, each team will need to set up and clear the stage quickly, and there will be only one 30 minute tech rehearsal per team. Thus, all technical elements of the play must be as minimal as possible.

You can submit your play either by e-mail OR by regular mail.
DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSIONS: April 2, 2013.
Winning playwrights will be notified by e-mail on or before April 8, 2013.
